Introduction

Our client needed to install scaffolding to completely replace crane rails above 5 bunkers at their energy from waste facility.

Challenge

This scaffolding could only be installed during a 3 day working window, and would have required a costly and time consuming hanging scaffold, this was not feasible so an alternative solution was urgently required.

Solution

Working with the client, a design was agreed to provide a permanent installation of a support system that could be erected before the shutdown and hinged into position only when required. 110 manufactured in total using coded MIG, all passing NDT 100%. Continuous deliveries using IME transport for a seamless install.

Result

Successful project and happy customer, avoiding the need for expensive scaffold.
